Surround Air brings you the latest in air purifying technology with the new high efficiency Multi-Tech S3000 Air Purifier. The new S3000 uses 6 proven air-cleaning technologies to remove nearly all pollutant types, including: Pre-Filter for larger particles, HEPA Filter traps 99% of dust, allergens, etc., Activated Carbon Filter for chemicals, odors, smoke, Photocatalytic (TiO2) Filter for bacteria, chemicals, Germ-Killing UV Lamp to destroy micro-organisms, Ozone-free Ionizer to neutralize floating particles. In addition, the S3000 features a high-powered fan (180 cfm) resulting in a large number of air exchanges each hour, increasing the number of pollutants passing through, and being captured by the filtering stages, plus it covers an area of up to 600 square feet. The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture found negative ion air purification (ionizers) to be 99% effective at removing airborne dust & particles. Under normal circumstances, Multi-Tech replacement costs will run just $25 to $50 per year (for replacement filters and UV lamp each year). The Multi-Tech will only add a few dollars or so per month to your power bill. Its powerful fan increases air-cleaning efficiency by effectively moving the air.
